Goan Shack in Dubai

Being a goan I can say it's one of the best restaurant I have been in Dubai... very good staff, very friendly, food is awsome... love you Goa!!!

This place is truly Goa outside Goa!! The amazing cocktails and the combination of food makes you feel nostalgic!! If your from Goa this is the place to dine and if you have just visited Goa this place will bring back memories!! If you haven't been to Goa yet then you will surely get a taste of things to come!!

Goan Shack is best for authentic Goan food. The Sorpotel and prawn Ambotik are excellent to try out.. The live band is another reason to head out to Goan Shack, accepting requests for your favourite songs, these pros really know how to rock! The staff are always warm and accommodating.. Let them know it's a birthday or an anniversary and they will go out of their way to make it special for you.Of course they serve alcohol. Plenty of reasons to head over to Goan Shack. 👍👍

This is a sad excuse for a hotel. We reached there at 1:00 pm and they said it'll take 30 mins to serve because the chef went home late and thus reported to work also late! We were surprised at their viewpoint. Still waited for 45 mins to get it. Food was okay. My friend wanted some bhaji they guy said he'll be back and didn't even come back. Nobody came to check even once after service. No water nothing. We ourselves went to pay the bill and when we asked them about the bhaji he didn't even remember!! Plus, when we asked why was service so slow despite of only 3 tables in the whole restaurant he didn't have an answer. Don't ruin your dinner/lunch by coming here. They just have an excuse for everything and it feels like they're doing you a favour by providing you food. Never coming back. Such bad, bad experience.

Family friendly bar, but if you want to visit with group of friends choose the days wisely

Very POOR service by the staff..the food took more that an hour n half to be served .. soup was served after the food..Staff and Manager just parading from this end to that end. The band was the best thing there.Wont recommend this place.

It's a family place. It also has live music .. You can have your dinner with ur loved ones , with ur fav sound track played

Cozy and ideal place to have the best authentic Goan meal in Dubai. Very entertaining live band, helpful staff and overall a really nice place to just chill. And the prices are pretty pocket friendly.

Nice food and setup, it's just that they played a lot of Bollywood music rather than Konkani or English and the band took an extremely long break.

Goan Touch in DubaiI never went to Goa (India) but visited "The Goan Shack" at Astoria Hotel in Dubai along with my Goan Friend and she said the Restaurant has Goan Touch.I personally found a very relaxing and peaceful place, music was sung by the Rhythm makers they sang so well they engaged with the crowd. Food was good as well and all the stuff were friendly also. Nice place to go with your Goan friends to have a Goan touch in Dubai ❤❤

Place for Goan cuisine... Don't indulge in expensive menu, its too much and quality is not to the mark. Otherwise the ambience is nice..

The name is Goan shack but the food was not Goan it was not as expected it was not like a proper Goan style ....just Making people fool and on top of that it was too expensive

Pretty cool interior in a large space. The food though isn't great. We were a group of 10 for a staff party and tried a lot of dishes. The Dahl was good. Most of the food lacked taste and defintely wasn't a true view of Goan food. They serve alcohol and surprisingly it was OK. It was overall a bit of hit and miss. Wait staff were friendly and the band was good.

Cozy bar/ restaurant that has live entertainment and shisha. Everything you'll ever need plus great service from waiters and management. Food is excellent!

Celebrated my birthday with family on a Friday evening. Was forced to choose smoking zone as the non smoking seating was full. Drinks and cocktails were alright, food was decent. Live music was nice. Recommend this if you want to catch up for drinks at night with friends. Used the Emirates platinum discount.

Amazing band and nice service... stress free place.. food could be better... however the beef chops are 5 on 5...
